After over seven years of hosting SpeedQuizzing at The Gipsy Queen in Kentish Town to hundreds of fantastic people, the owners sold the business. Following a short gap, I'll be hosting at their new venue, The South End Green Social (formerly The Cork & Bottle) from Sunday 15th June 2025!
First and third Mondays every month

Back in 2014 I started my SpeedQuizzing business at McMullen's The Queens Arms in Barnet, and kept it going on the second and fourth Mondays every month for ten years until manager Jamie moved a mile down the road to The Lord Kitchener, and took me with him! I'll no doubt be here for many more years!

One of my newest venues, my weekly Tuesday SpeedQuizzing night at this unique McMullen's pub in a former Post Office took off very quickly! We get very full, very lively, and the locals are amazing! Booking is highly recommended, and I hope to see you here soon!

On Cole Green Lane, Welwyn Garden City, you'll find my colleague Shaun at this large, cosy McMullen's pub running SpeedQuizzing nights every other Tuesday. Always busy, his step counter works overtime with the floor area he covers in the buzzer round!

One of our most unique venues! The Cellar Bar, at 75 High Street in Bedford town centre, holds music events with live bands, karaoke, drag bingo, and now...SpeedQuizzing! You'll find your host Owen here on every first, second and fourth Wednesday every month. (The successful Drag Bingo is every third Wednesday).

Another McMullens pub takes on the might of SpeedQuizzing! Shaun will be here on the first and third Wednesdays each month.
Hitchin has never had a SpeedQuizzing night before - but they do now, and it's been a huge success from the very first night!
Every first Thursday
The Fisherman, Stevenage
When the staff and manager of The Fisherman ran my Tuesday pub one night back in 2022, they couldn't believe how successful my SpeedQuizzing night was so they just had to take me on at their pub! Ever since then, I've been filling their large conservatory with teams on the first Thursday every month. Booking essential!
Every third Thursday
The Red Lion, Hatfield, Herts
The snowball effect continues! When the management here heard about SpeedQuizzing at The Fisherman, they came to try it for themselves and booked me for the third Thursday every month at McMullen's Red Lion in Hatfield! Another very big, and very full venue, so you will need to book ahead.
Every last Thursday (from June 26th 2025)
The Jolly Farmers, Enfield, Middx
Yet another McMullens pub has heard about our monthly Thursdays, and has now taken the last one available! Owen will be hosting SpeedQuizzing in the function room of this large pub/restaurant on Enfield Road, between Oakwood and Enfield Town, on the last Thursday every month from June 26th 2025.
